Earth Day 2013 at MITThe MIT Earth Day Challenge is back!

From April 20-28th, participants can earn points by engaging in action projects on campus and at home to win fabulous green prizes. Visit a recycling plant, learn about worm composting, practice some DIY energy efficiency, witness glaciers melting before your eyes, and much more. Register to participate in this year’s Challenge!

About the Challenge

From April 20-28th, participants will be able to earn points by engaging in action projects on campus and at home to win fabulous green prizes, including the grand prize of $250.  That’s just over a week to get your green on! Activities will include:

  • A tour of the Casella Recycling Plant
  • A worm composting demonstration
  • A DIY home energy efficiency challenge
  • A screening of the critically acclaimed documentary, Chasing Ice
