MIT professor Donald Sadoway has been named by Time magazine as one of the “100 Most Influential People in the World” for 2012. Time cites Sadoway’s work on liquid batteries and his love of teaching, noting that his recent TED talk — in which he makes full use of a chalkboard — has been viewed more than 380,000 times. "In a battery, I strive to maximize electrical potential," Sadoway, a professor in MIT’s Department of Materials Science and Engineering, says in the article.
